Newspapers have always been our largest source of what's new. Television and radio play a large part in keeping us informed as well but newspapers are something we can save, look at and browse through again and again.

Indiana newspapers come in a variety of styles including daily newspapers, weekly newspapers, monthly and even college newspapers to keep the student apprised of what's going on at their school or on campus. Indiana newspapers in languages other than English can also be found.

Some of the many Indiana newspapers include The Indianapolis Star, Special Edition (monthly newspaper), Journal-Press, The Post & Mail, News Examiner, The Herald Times, Sun News & Evening Star, Indianapolis Business Journal, Noblesville Daily Times, NewsLink Indiana, South Bend Star, The Daily Sun and many more. Some sorts of Indiana newspapers are available for almost any large city as well as many small communities.

The Indianapolis Star is one of the Indiana newspapers that's been around since 1903 and is published daily. It got its start as a daily newspaper run in the morning as competition for the Indianapolis Sentinel and the Indianapolis Journal, two papers that were also daily Indiana newspapers. Eventually, due to its large success, it took over both of these Indiana newspapers. The Indianapolis Star is a Pulitzer Prize winner two times due to its excellent investigative reporting. It has also received honors for its numerous series on corruption for the Indianapolis Police Department.

The Indianapolis Star daily edition has numerous sections including news (national, local and world), business section (stock market, business news, weather, etc.), sports, puzzles, movie information, comics and television and classifieds. The Sunday edition includes all this plus commentaries, questions, Sunday comics and a much wider variety of the daily stuff.

The South Bend Tribune is another popular newspaper in Indiana that's run daily as well as having a large Sunday edition. It's distributed in the Michiana region and ha five editions published in Mishawaka (2), South Bend Metro, Marshall County and Lower Michigan. Indiana residents particularly rely on their Indiana newspapers for its wide coverage of the races.
