• Folk Art – This is an award winning publication that is produced in association with the American Folk Art Museum, in New York (United States). The editorial content is geared towards collectors, educators, students, and the museum community that is interested in traditional or contemporary American folk and decorative arts. It is a nonprofit magazine that is a part of the educational program within the museum. You are able to purchase it in two different museum stores or at selected newsstands around the nation.

• – This online primitive magazine and market is based in the United States. Each month they showcase different talented artists of decorative folk art from all over. There is a marketplace section where you are able to purchase these pieces of art to add to your collection or accent an area of your home. There is also an informative page how you can become a vendor and show your stuff by displaying your artwork and hopefully sell a few pieces. • Narodne Mystetstvo (Folk Art) – This is a nonprofit Ukraine folk art magazine. It is brought to you by the nonprofit private organization by the name of, "The National Union of Folk Art Masters of Ukraine." They represent over 800 folk art masters and have been publishing their folk art magazine since 1997. The magazine has vast amounts of information and photographs that cover over 200 years of folk art history. The articles feature different Ukraine folk artists and art. It also lists articles about private and public viewings of folk art collections.

Different types of people enjoy different types of art. This is true for folk art. Magazines allow people to peruse certain types of art so they can see if it is a good fit or gain further knowledge of a favorite art period.
